Mike Weatherley, the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, has announced a visit by his ministerial colleague to Portslade on Thursday 20th September.
Baroness Hanham CBE, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Communities & Local Government, who has responsibility for the European Regional Development Fund, is visiting Brighton & Hove to see some of the city’s European-funded projects.
As part of her tour of the city, Baroness Hanham will visit the Learning Cities Interreg project and open the Portslade Learning Centre on Boundary Road, which offers a broad framework of lifelong learning opportunities for adults. Interreg is financed through the European Regional Development Fund. More information on the programme is available here.
